Memphis Mornings, Soulfully Brewed.
A daily five-minute pause to let the city catch up to you. Pour a warm mug, pull up a porch chair, and listen to the heartbeat of the Bluff City.
Start your morning with our daily audio stream or watch the sunrise over the river with micro-broadcasts built on local stories, simple moments, and Memphis soul.
The Soul of the 901
Memphis wakes up before the sun does. Out on Lamar, on Union Avenue, and across the Hernando de Soto Bridge, this city is built one shift, one song, and one sunrise at a time.
The 901 Sunrise is a daily, minimalist morning audio show designed to help you ease into your day. We don’t rush the news, and we don’t shout. Instead, we take five minutes to slow down, share a local slice-of-life story, and tap into the timeless rhythm of the Mid-South. It’s like porch storytelling over early morning radio—warm, reflective, and rooted in Memphis blues.
The Daily Rhythm
Every five-minute episode is crafted with care, featuring custom lo-fi blues instrumentals and a steady pace.
The Vibe Check
A slow-tempo acoustic Delta blues guitar swell. Take a slow pull of your coffee while we check local weather and set the morning vibe.
Story of the Day
Narrated, soulful observations of everyday Memphis moments—from Midtown screen doors to truck silhouettes on the river overpass at dawn.
Community Spotlight
